Address search

To create a map based on an address, use the address attribute. Google Maps will search for the address, and if there’s only one possible result, it will make it the centre of the map.

NB: you need to be very specific! Google really is searching for the address, so you need to give it complete details or it might find the wrong place (even the wrong country!) or find too many matches to show a map.

It’s a good idea to tell Google the country/region to bias your search, using the region attribute. The region is a two-letter code taken from a list of commonly accepted country codes.
